Default exhaust

im just curious, how much different sounding is a o/r h pipe vs a catd h pipe?

Well, I added an o/r Mac H-pipe to my 04 GT and it was much louder. The only catted one I had was stock, so I'm not sure what an aftermarket catted pipe sounds like in person. They would have to be a little louder since it would have two cats vs four and it also it a quarter inch bigger. I also had Magnaflow mufflers, which have a good deep sound, but they are also known for sounding damn near stock at idle. I think I have a great combo now.

To tell you the truth i would put Flowmasters mufflers. I put them on and they sound great. at first they arent as loud but when they settle they are loud as can be.
