Remain - Have you installed the functional Ram Air hood yet? I'm curious to see how that works with the air intake, and if it can be combined with a CAI or not.

Thanks

I have the whole cervinis kit and have no problems with fit or quality. The only thing that seemed to be difficult for me was I think the mold release they use made it harder to prep for primer and paint but the parts were spot on and had no trouble after installation. I love the look of the hood you are speaking of and think you should go for it! The others mentioned are fine but if you want the Cervinis than go for it. The salespeople are polite, respond to emails fairly fast, and they sent out parts for things that they for some reason didn't have with the kit (next day air). So its up to you and if I did things differently and bought the kit after they came out with the hood you want I would have have bought it. JMO J

The Cervini Ram Air Hood is money! I get more compliments on this hood and it's a real eye catcher when going down the road. If you want more pics, click on the cardomain link at the bottom. There are some good ones from the last cruise we did out here.

Here's the ram air hood, I also have the Steeda CAI. Love the hood even if %&$#@ Cervini won't actually make it funtional like the shaker.

okbfd - LOVE your car... sweet.. That's one of Cervini's many ram air hoods. They have a RamAir Kit fortheir Concept Ram Air Hood (Part #1176) which makes it fully functioning. From the looks of it, it looks like it tunnels the air in where one would presumably have a cold air intake installed. It doesn't look like it goes to the stock airbox... I wanted to see if anyone had one installed before I contacted them....

I'll have to go back on their site. A number of us posted about making the ram air functional and Cervini basically blew us off. It looks like I will have to take another look.
