Springs, Shocks, Suspension

RE: Springs, Shocks, Suspension
BrookShadow, indeed it appears they will transfer accurately. I'm looking to upgrade my suspension for road racing and some autoX. I don't care about ride quality, but I am working on a budget. Coilover kits are starting to come out for the stang, but are twice as much (or more) as the Tokicos. Are the DSpecs a solid choice for road racing, or are they more for a lowered street car?

Good luck, keep me posted on your mods and how you do at Auto-X.

Hey guys, im still trying to figure out if i should just simply get the eibach pro kit or if i need to get cambers, shocks, struts, panhard, etc. I definitely do care about ride quality and find the stock ride firm for stock but still fine. So if i lower the vehicle, i dont want it to be any worse than it is, i also dont want the rear end to shift off center. Ive talked to a few shops and people, and some say you can install the prokit wihtout anything else and others say you need to change out shocks, struts, camber needs to be adjusted, panhard needs to be changed. Does anyone have a good ride with lowering springs? what do u guys think? thanks in advance.

Well, in terms of budget, im not too sure, but when i do something, i like to do it right and completely the first time. So im still playing around with it; its gonna be all or none. If i do lower it, then i would want to do all necessary adjustments. Or else just wait. I do alot of street and highway driving, some drifting, and rarely ever any track.( I do drive canyons though.) The idea i was trying to maintain, is to deliver a smooth (stock or better) ride quality with the lowered look as well as decent handling gains. What would be ideal, Buffpony, is that the looks, ride, and an improvement in handling (but not necessarily the best handling ever) are achieved. What do u think? Thanks everyone for all the help and input.
