I have a 2005 mustang gt and was wondering which muffler would sound better between the slp loudmouth and magnaflow. Im aware that some people think the slp sounds raspy on a 99-04 stang, but i wanna know if it will sound different on the 3valve 05. All other input would be appreciated.

If you don't mind the volume, the SLP has the greatest sound IMO. Mine are coming to me now... (Damn Christmas backorder!)

The Mags sound horrid IMO... Sorry =p

to me they are total opposites. Loud slp and then very mellow magnaflow all about what you like. I went in the middle with the Steeda Axle- Back set up.

But really, SLP is a historically GM company. They started with the 99-04 shortly before the release of the 05. They're working their way back now. Expect LMs for 5.0s soon.

slp loudmouth on the way for me too. cant wait.
deff. the best sound for these and look alot cleaner without the mufflers in the back of the car.

SLP does make loudmouth for 5.0s. My buddy had them on his. The loud mouth to me sounds great but it is no mufflers where as the magnaflow is mufflers.
