Hey - I'm a chick who just bought a new stang and WANT OPINIONS ON THE STRIPES I WANT TO ADD!

Please?

Hubby says to put the black racing stripes on the car. It's the GT Black Convertible Top Legend Lime car displayed in the 2006 Ford Mustang Brochure from the dealership. It came to me with no stripes at all.

So trying to decide on the white stripe saying "Mustang" down the side or the racing black stripes down the hood and back. Should the stripes go all the way down the bumpers and over the spoiler?

Are there any pictures on this forum of anyone who has a Legend Lime Mustang spruced up? Love to see the different looks, but can't find green mustang pictures on this forum - help!

Hey, whats up fellow lime owner? Im planning on putting stripes on my car this spring. I think the black looks more at home on the lime cars..but I still havent decided what color Im going with yet. You can see some pics of other lime cars here http://www.legendlimeregistry.com/

I'd go with the gold strips. That was the traditional thing to do with the Lime Gold mustangs back in the 70's.

Check out this website. It will let you put in your car color and change the color of the stripes on it. If you are having the stripes painted on then there is a world of other color choices to go with. Someone with some better photoshop or painting software experience may be able to put other custom color stripes on a car for you to see how it would look but the website can give you a good start. It is just a hardtop on the website though so won't give you the complete picture.

The reason I went with Windveil blue as 1st choice and Legend Lime as 2nd was I saw two Shelbys (67-68), one Brittany Blue with White LeMans stripes and a green (very similar to Legend Lime) also with white LeMans stripes. They were absolutely beautiful. So, if looking for opinions, I say white LeMans stripes from nose to tail, spoiler included.
