Default MMR or other Intake Experiences

I am saving to get the Vortech blower or MMR Turbo kit but in the meantime, I wanted to get a few extra hp to play with at the track. So, I am planning to buy an intake next week, I don't which one yet, and am debating to get pulleys and a X-calibrator I or II. Anyone out there have some knowledge to share about intake, pulleys, tuners or MMR?

I figured the intake, pulleys and tune should give me enough power to feel a difference and improve my et's. Anyone running a similar setup in the Los Angeles or SoCal area? I only know of MMR (modularmustangracing.com) but I would like to hear your recommendations and/or experiences with local tuners.

Thanks.
