Plenum Cover and Strut Tower Brace
Anyone have both a Midwest Plenum Cover and a strut tower brace. I saw pics one guy posted with a Steeda strut brace which had enough clearance.
I was wondering if anyone else knows of other braces that will fit with the plenum cover. Thanks |

I ordered the Plenum cover from Midwest and was ready to put it on. Got it and removed my brace, Ford Racing Brace, put the cover on then it was time for the brace. It would not fit, not enough clearance. Mid west took it back and refunded my $$$.

That's too bad, at least they took it back. I like the look of the FRPP brace, do you have the one that is two bars going across?
Are you able to tell a difference with it installed... I am wondering if I should scrap my plenum cover and get a brace. (Already made mods to the cover so I cant send it back.) |

Just did some photoshopping on the stock photo... 1, 2 or 3??? Let me know which you think works best in my Yellow GT. I'm trying to keep things simple, so none of those flames for me!

That's interesting because the guy who made my plenum cover has the Ford Racing Brace on his car and it fits just fine. Perhaps there is more than one ford racing brace??????

I have the two bar brace. The guy at midwest is supposed to be modifing the plenum cover to work with the brace, maybe he has done it. I like number 3 as well.

#3 would be yellow stripes with a chrome Pony. I had to photoshop the chrome effect.
I think I'll write them to see if they can make one. I just really dislike those flames... I mean nobody will put flames on the outside of their GT will they? |
