Hey guys whats the widest i can go on rear tires for my stang ? and the widest i can go in the front this is for 06 GT anyone knows im looking to either go with 18s or 19 wheels

I think 275's is as wide as you can go in the front, I know 275 fit in the rear as well but not sure if you can go wider??

yeah 275's on front i believe is the max. many guys on here have 295's on the back with no rubbing. 295 is prolly max there but don't quote me on this .

i run a 295 series on 10" rim. no rubbing, but i did have some clearance issues with the brakes and the rim. nothing a spacer didn't fix.

Is their room to go wider with the rear tire I saw a pic of a Cobra with 315 rear and it looks good.

295's were getting close to sticking out of the wheel well, i dunno about how much room on the inside. Next time I'm under the car I'll take a look. Got some lines to run in a few days.

the H&R project 05 has 305's on it.. but it's also on 19" rims... don't really remember how tall the tire was but it was on a 19 x 10 rear wheel... Looked bad ***!! i'm leaning towards that combo for my car.

I was thinking about 19x9.5 front and 19x11 rear. Is there any way this will work. I really want 11's on the back. To help I was planning on useing the 3DCarbon kit.

What if you were just putting tires on the standard 17 inch rim that Ford supplied you then how wide could you go?

I've seen an '05 with 20" rims and 315 on rear. Very close to body but no signs of rubbing... don't know what sort of driving is being done.
