06 GT vs 04 Cobra

RE: 06 GT vs 04 Cobra
+10 Either that, or give customers different drivetrain code options like they did in the 60's. Imagine if they would have given mustang owners options like:
*5 or 6 speed manual
*live axle or IRS
*300HP 4.6 24V SOHC or 350HP 4.6 32V DOHC......maybe even an uncharged version of the 5.4 making about 400HP.
It would have been really sweet. Better equipment means more dough added to the invoice price, but at least give ppl who are interested an option to go that route if they wanna pay for it. Just my 2 cents.

I agree. I want a all motor 5.4 V8. I have heard rumors of their being a stang coming out with this motor and it is rated at 390 hp. It is rumored to be a 2008 model.

I read they are going to call it the boss 329. Either way boss or mach, when they make it I am getting one.

Yes sir!
Add to that other go options like a real Ford 9" rear end and whatever ratio you want for it from the factory!
I might just go for a "Martinsville" 9" setup with a 6.50 ratio!
No joke, it would be nice to have a wide choice of rear gear ratios on either the 9" or 8.8" gear.
