My buddy just traded in his 05 GT Stang for the 05 Roush Stage 2. I think he got a good deal. They wanted 52.000 to begin with but dropped it down to 38.000. Tell me Mustang Gurus' is that a good deal. It has the automatic transmission. With that special suspension shouldn't it also put more horsepower to the rear wheels. Any comments I would appreciate it.

It wont dyno much more. The stage 2 is suspension and a couple of bolt ons. It is the 3 that is boosted.

sounds like a good deal to me....considering they wanted to charge me 37k for my '06 automatic GT - i ended up getting mine for just over 30k

Sounds like a good deal. The Stage 2 stickers for about $42K, same as an S-281. I saw 4 Roush's and 2 Saleens on a lot in Lexington last night, and the dealer had their own cheezy piece of paper stuck to the windows next to the REAL sticker - CARRYOVER price was the first line, then their BS additions for this that and the other - basically equalled about a $5K bump above sticker [:@]

Also yesterday when I got in his car I reved it and it reved about 6500. That is more than the stock engine has. It sounded better than the regular Gt too. He also got a 10 year warranty buying the car for free. It doubt kicks some serious ***.

thats just the tuning, my gt revs to 6800, and im sure that rusch has a nicer sounding exhaust.

Alright old subject but does anyone know if the automatic 2005 Roush can out run my 2005 GT Mustang with my mods: Mac axlebacks, C/L Air Induction with Brenspeed tune and a 5 speed transmission. Damn why are we so competive?
