Dyno tune via predator

Dyno tune via predator
Need some feedback on tuning on a mustang dyno. All of my prior hotrods were old school, Challenger, 69 Z28, V-8 Vega, Dodge Demon, and my favorite, a 69 Mach1 ( which I lost in a divorce. Her boyfriend that she was cheating with drives it now. Where's the justice!). Now I am dealing with sqeezing H/P out of my 05 G.T. I have done all the bolt ons for the most part, and am headed for the dyno for a custom diablo tune. They quoted in the area of $450. How does that compare to the normal price range? Is it worth the $ over the canned tune I am running now? Thanks for your input!

First all welcome to the forums! Secondly I am sorry about your mach, that is a messed up situation and you deserved to get everything! 3rd a dyno tune will get a decent gain over a canned tune because it is exact to your car and not generalized. I strongly recommend getting it done. I got some decent gains going from the canned tune to a real tune.

Thanks for the feedback. How does the pricing compare? Is $450 in line? Noticed your charge motion plates 757. Would you recommend them? I have heard sveral opinions, good and bad.

RE: Dyno tune via predator
If $450 is just the tune and no predator than that is too much. I paid $200 for my custom dyno tuning and that is a little high around here but the guy that did mine is the best in the area. The delete plates I strongly recommend. Nobody believes me on this board when I say my gains but I got 17 whp with them and a new tune for them. The top end was noticeably better and my traps went up almost 2mph. If you have any other questions feel free to pm me anytime!
