Another GTO Thread.......But I Need Your Input!
Hey guys, I know dead horse had been beat but I have to ask. I have a 06 GT, and my buddy had a 05 GTO. Now I have the C&L Intake w/SCT2 93 octane Tune, Steeda Underdrive Pullys, and Cervini/Magnaflow Side Exhaust (also some Hooket LT's w/mid pipe soon on the way, still deciding on a X/H pipe I want rumble but power as well), anyway he has a intake (rated at +10 crank hp). We are both about = drivers, who do you think would win (with my Hookers and without)?

Without the headers you should at least be even if not you pulling a little from a stop. Over 100 he will start to catch up to you and eventually pass you. With the headers and mid pipe you should be able to win but again over 100 he will start to come up on you quickly.
I beat my buddies '05 GTO M6 from a stop to 90 by 1.5 cars. He has a LPE intake and no mufflers. He is tuned now and makes 400 so I am pretty sure he will beat me now. His car has WAAAAAAAAAAAAY more up top then mine does.

GTO is good for low 13s, his car with pullies, intake, and a tune is good for low 13s. GTO 13.3ish and the GT 13.2ish with those mods and a manual. The manual cars are a good bit quicker than the autos and dyno much better. With those mods he is proably putting down about 290. GTOs put down 340ish stock but weigh almost 400 lbs more.

i really don't understang why people say that....I think its just a mental thing, yeah sure its a LS2 but think about it a stock GTO with a good driver, will run a 13.2 ish. brenspeed.com's 05 Mustang GT with intake tune and mufflers runs a 12.8 seems pretty striaght forward to me....

It can be done with a really good driver. Your average driver is going to run low 13s with those mods. I said I think you got it. Why do want to argue with me???

yeah lets argue, lol j/k. oh and the first pot where i said its a mental thing, it was towards TMG it just happened you and i were posting at the same time, lol! oh the brenspeed thing, i just wanted to make sure it was correct!
