I have seen a MAC strut tower brace not fit on a car that has never been hit, I have scratched their coating off with my thumb nail, I have seen their headers not line up after you take them off, and their exhaust systems rust out in about a year

I installed the MAC acleback about three weeks ago. Great fit, look and sound. I don't know what Twister is talking about. They are 100% polished stainless, so no coating to rub off, and I have never seen stainless rust!

we used the MAC exhaust that was on the '86 GT parts car I bought to do the SEFI 5.0 5 speed swap to my '85. The chrome tips were rusty but they polished up nice, and then promptly rusted again. MAC's chrome plating leaves a lot to be desired.
Everything from headers leaking badly to a system made up of all of their components not fitting with each other properly to a set of tail pipes that had to be trimmed and re-bent in order to fit. And don't get me started on their useless coatings.
The 1-3/4" longtube headers were horrible! They bolted up to the heads fine, but the passenger side required the smashing of a tube in order to clear the starter. The driver's side header required either smashing in two tubes to clear the steering shaft, or the purchase of an aftermarket (Flaming River) steering shaft. I opted for the latter at an additional $175.00.
