Default Steeda Billet Strut Tower Brace for the GT

I'm wondering if anyone has this on their car and if so does it makes a difference in handling at all. Thanks

I don't have hands-on experience with that bar in particular, but I can tell you from a "laws of the universe" standpoint the bar will improve handling over nothing at all, but a solid bar would be better. Having the bar tie the towers together will improve lateral rigidity, but the spherical joints will still allow the chassis to "parallelagram", ie. move up and down independent of each other. The solid Steeda brace will prevent much more flex since any movement will have to deflect the steel itself. Somewhat funny considering the billet one is so much more expensive.

Dont think the solid clears a added plenum cover, for future mods. I belive it rubs. I like the end cap covers tho. But dislike the price alot

I just installed the steeda billet brace yesterday. It will clear the plenum cover. It took me awhile to convince myself to buy it because of price, but it really makes the engine bay look so much better. I really like it. Haven't had a chance to test the handling yet as my car is not coming out till spring.

defently post up to date info after racing her around some. Yeah I was refering to the double bar(solid) one that rubs, The billet one is suppose to clear the aftermarket plenum cover.
