Definitely go with FRPP 4.10s... You won't be disappointed... I absolutely love mine! Much better acceleration and more fun to drive! I bought mine from Parkway Ford for $185.00 delivered... Give them a call at 1-888-FORD-SVT (888-367-3788), ext 120... Ask for Paul Dishroon, he'll hook you up...
+1!! Motive and Richmond tend to whine, FRPP do not, worth the extra money!!

Hi TMG,

How about 3.90's?

Cheers

ORIGINAL: TMG

This is how i came to my decision. Id rather get 4.10s and realize that they are too much and switch to 3.73's than get 3.73's and have to upgrade. 4.10's will be much easier to sell if that were to happen. But i think i will love them. I just cant justify going from a 3.55 to a 3.73.

Great work there grasshopper! Deffinatly worth a sticky at the top!!! Anyway you could also do the 5 Speed Auto ratios as well for the auto crowd?

In sum, the differant between 3.55 and 4.10 @ 70 MPH is about 320 RPM and first gear is shorter by 6 MPH.
Thanks!

I revised it and made a seperate manual and auto file and added the T-5 to the manual.

Also, the numbers at the bottom represent the percentage difference between each gear, ie. 20 in the 2nd gear column means second is 20% higher than 1st. The very bottom row is the difference in the differences, but I don't know why.

Im taching 6200 at 72mph. Oh, wait, thats third gear.

Im supercharged, and IWould love to go to a higher gear, but I really dont think Ill be able to hook up at all. First gear is already nearly useless. Anyone with over 390 hp changed the gears?

~2300 is more like it if you have the 5spd automatic transmission. Mine has 18" wheels too. The size of the wheel would matter as well.

~2500 is what mine is taching now at 80mph with the 3.73s.

~2500 stock sounds a mite high to me for stock gears.

What are you taching now at either 70 or 80mph and which do you have an automatic or a manual?

It is easy to figure the new number. Just take your rpm at a given speed and multiply it by 4.10/(your old ratio).

Hope this helps.
