Morning All,
Long time lurker, part time poster.

For those of you in Orange County, Ca. did anyone else see the ad this morning in the Orange County Register? On the full page sales ad for Sunset Ford, they are advertising themselves and OC's newest Saleen Dealership. The ad is showing same day supply and installation of a Saleen Supercharger, going from 300 to 425 HP, for $4995.00 plus tax installed.....

Gonna have to call when they open and check this out. Will advise.

I called them and they said the $4995.00 is for the SC only. You have to pay extra for taxes and installation.

Well, I haven't had the chance to call, but I will tell you that I just ran out and dug the Saturday ad out of the recycle bin. Ad reads exactly as follows;

Only $4995.00 + Tax
Installed

Also went by their dealership last night on the Garbage Gulch Freeway on the way to our basketball tourney....They have a jumbo-tron out next to the freeway, which shows the identical advertisement as noted above. Who knows.....I'm going to try calling tomorrow, but I believe the printed ad clearly states that it includes installation...

All,
Spoke with Sam in the service department of Sunset Ford today, who also checked with his Manager.
Price of $4995.00 plus tax INCLUDES installation
Price is said to be good through the end of March. He advised to call a day or two ahead of time so they have the Supercharger shipped from Irvine.

Let's just say that I am in the process of figuring how to "budget" 5k during the next four weeks. Bonus not due until May, so..........we shall see. If they live up to the ad, as they have stated, I really don't think the deal can be beat........Sure would like to have it done. I also verifyed this includes the Saleen Computer Flash as well.
