Default Baer Decelarotors and Hawk HPS Pads Install

Just installed this combo on my 2006 GT yesterday (and painted the calipers black). Looks great and seems to perform well (although I just broke the pads in today so I don't know if it actually brakes better yet than stock).

Has anyone done this combo? I know the rotors are mainly for looks compared to stock but I needed new rotors at 132,000 miles. I have no weird noises and it stops well so I'm assuming I installed everything correctly.

I was just thinking about installing these. How much lighter are they than stock?

We weighed the front Baer and stock rotors---exactly the same weight, 18.6lbs

Am sure they look much better than stock. I did the rears on mine with the relocation bracket and upgraded the front to 14" with the calipers. Only issue I had was finding 18" rims that would fit. Man when you open the box the rotors look like fricking large pieces they are huge.. I was like holy crap and smiling ear to ear.. Baer has some nice products and they have templates on their webiste so you can check if the caliper / rotors will fit your rim...

Nope - they are factory replacements (one piece) designed as a straight up swap using the factory calipers. I don't track the car. See link below - Blue Oval Industries sells the Decelarotors (front and rear) on Ebay for $350 shipped. I wasn't looking for a $1500 to 2500 upgrade.
