Sorry to hear that man. You never know, I've heard of them showing up after much longer than 2 weeks randomly. Its good not to kid yourself though. If it happens then great. I can still get myself to well up if I think about the one I had to have put down 5 years ago.

Sorry to hear about that MC. Hopefully he comes back.

I would be very sad if my dog got away.

I feel your pain. My cat had to be put down because he was in pain a lot. 18 years. And he had a striking appearance to yours.

that really blows, its harder to when you have a cat that is very personable with you. I know we had a cat that had to be put down for liver failure at 2yrs old, about 2months later we adopted two kittens........and as the vet said "they had a reaction to the distemper shots and thats what killed them" within 2 weeks It was hard, but thats how the cookie crumbles i guess.......This is no lie my dads friend had a cat scoot out the door one time, and for a month he put signs, all over drove around etc. etc. finally my dad told him to borrow our Hav-A-Heart trap and to put in one of his shirts that he hasnt washed in a while. He cought the cat in the trap within 2 days! Since then they been best of buds once again. Heres a pic of our latest monster, apperantly he wasn't good enough to be a show cat so we adopted him
