What I did today! (PICS) / Machwon's Mod Thread
Well I figured since i'll probably be modding the crap out of this mach 1 throughout the next year...I figured why not just make 1 thread and document the work I do as I go along, rather than making like 50 lol. There wont be anything exciting...but maybe some of these smaller mods I do will give other machers ideas about what they might want to do with their cars. I'm going to try and document all the mods with a couple good pictures highlighting the changes that are made. Enjoy!

Well I got a little bored so I decided to polish up my C&L Intake tube. My arm is dead but I think it looks a lot better than it did. I started with 80 grit sandpaper, then 160 grit, then 600, then 1500, and finished with a bunch of polishing with compounds. I also Installed the Ford Racing Coil Covers which I think really compliment the engine bay! Here are a few pics:

RE: What I did today! (PICS)
Glad to hear you're looking for a mach 1..you will love it! Some mods that I would recommend for the car include:
For Power:
PHP /Roy'sIntake Spacer
BBK/Kooks/SLP/Hooker Longtube Headers
O/R or Catted Matching X pipe
Intake kit (MRT, K&N, C&L, JLT)
Electric Water pump
A good Dyno tune-
with those mods above should be 300+ rwhp.

All those mods are very good to start off with...add a catback to that like Matt said and you'll be set
You can also upgrade to 4.10 gears or do some suspension work (i.e. Lower control arms), and upgrade to a stickier set of tires

Mach's respond real well to mods especially with a tune. I know a guy who's on the registry has only a JLT RAI and with one really sexy tune he's got, I think he said, 309 to the wheels. Seems kinda steep but you never know!

How hot does your intake get? I just noticed that if I ever get a new intake I'll need to get a new pluggy thingy that's almost up to the throttle body. That little rubber hose thing. Yeah I had to cut mine about an inch to have it fit on the JLT lol.For some reason I feel like I have some cheap plastic thing in my hood with the RAI
