What year model Mach are you trading the 67 for and what are some details about it - stick/auto, miles, etc? Just a starter question. What types of specs do youwant to know?

They don't seem to wear out easy, but they tend to lead hard lives.
Five-speed cars come from the factory with a forged crank, but it's mainly for the fact that the 5-spds have a redline of 6,800 RPMs () and the autos 5,800 RPMs since the auto trannys can't spin that high.
Upgrades abound for them, but not nearly as much as say the venerated pushrod motors. They like to wind up and they like to breathe, so usually the first bolt-ons are directed toward there - exhaust upgrades and intake(Ram Air Intake - RAI - or Cold Air Intake - CAI), throttle bodies and spacers.
There is an intake spacer (PHP or Roy's are who makes them) that goes between the upper and the lower intake that usually sells for around $100-150 that isa great early upgrade.
They usually dyno between 270-285 rwhp bone stock and run mid 13's in the hand of a decent pilot and in the hands of a really good one low 13's to high 12's.
03 and 04 Machs have the same heads and cams as Cobras and Aviators.
Mach's run 10.5:1 compresion from the factory I think.
3.55 gears stock. Since they wind so high, a lot of people put 4.30's or 4.10's in them (Mine has 4.10's). This is usually the first bolt-on for many. Mine pulls like nobody's business all the way to 6,800 with the gears. I love it and still get wellover 20 mpg.
With full bolt-ons and a tune, you can usually get to 310-320 rwhp without getting too radical.
There are some H/C/I packages from FRPP, mainly the FR500. It's pretty well thought of, but it's pretty pricey, too. Getting down with that will get you to 400 rwhp with supporting mods. Patriot makes some pretty good heads as does Sean Hyland. Crower has some cam packages for them and so does Comp Cams.

Welcome, man!!!

If its a manual, add cold air, LT's, off rd x/h pipe, good flowing CB(borla, magnaflow, slp...), 4:30's,better subframe connectors, better shifter and better tires. If its and auto add a 3600 stall converterstall in place of all the manual stuff andthese partswill get you deep into the 12's. Ported heads, cams, upper/lower c arms and better axles/31-33 splines will get you well into the 11's. If you want to boost the engine it would be best to forge the bottom end for reliability, but the stock block can handle 450rwhp with a good tune. Its all in how far you want to go. Good luck.

If your asking specs on motor it is a badass motor.
4v per cylinder DOHC V-8... Its a 281 4.6 rated at 305hp i think? something along the lines of that...
The drivetrain is pretty stout and I doubt you will have any problems with it... Its a bad *** car... what color is the one your getting?
