so i dont know much about the 4v bc i just got one. the guy i got it from put a IAC restrictor plate so the rpms drop faster. when i come to a light or switch freeways i usally put the car in nutral for a second. when i do that the car stalls. i looked the other day when i went to the light the rpms drop to about 300-400 than come back up. i took the plate off and drilled the whole a little bigger, that didnt help it still does it. does anyone elses stang do this?

my g/f's mach does the same thing. if you dont downshift as your coming off the exit ramp... it dies. i dont know what it is ether

Try cleaning the IAC. Mine does that too...it will drop really low for a second than jumps right back up.

Mine does that too. It has shut off on me three times while slowing up to make a turn. Not very comforting losing power brakes and steering around a curve.

yeah, that is a warm feeling....... had a camaro that the motor blew on a straight away before a curve..... try dealing with that at 80+. lol

Yea,there's definetly nothing good that can come from that!

yeah. it was a fun ride. zex spray kit was the reason the motor blew. the nitrous silonoid stuck open and blew it. from now on its NX for nothing.
