i need your guys thoughts........... its late and i am tired and need some help

the car sounds like there is a spark plug missing on the passanger side of the block (one of the back 2 cyl ) and i checked the plugs. they look alright.... dont think any of em are foiled out...... i dont know what it is.
thoughts? i dont know about it feeling like its lost power, cause the g/f and i only made it down the block and then headed back due to the sound and what kinda feels like a rough idle. no CEL

please help!

at first when it was at idle in the street and i was under the hook, it sounded like a plug was out of the head, so thats what i thought i was. when i took the cover off and saw all of them where good and nice and tight.... i was like......"um.....damn....... something is going really bad"

Header Gasket? Or is it more of a knocking sound?

knocking sound like a muffled version of the sound a piston makes when the spark plug is out

Would be good if the CEL would come on, at least you could pull the code and locate the problem. Check the plug that you think is bad to make sure it is firing. Take it out and see if it archs. If not, maybe you got a bad coil? I'm just throwing out guesses here man.

i wish it threw a CEL too.... i am going to move the back two coils from the passenger side of the block the the front side of the drives side of the block, if the sound changes, then i know its a bad coil.

anyone got a yay or nay on that idea? good plan or bad? i dont want to make things worse then they are
