So what exactly is meant by 'building' a rear end, does that entail new gears and a rebuild kit?

get a 8.8 solid axle rear end/3:73s, suspension.

THe machs don't have a solid rear axle? What kind of suspension would u recommend upgrading to on the machs?

There is some bad info being passed in this thread, or incorrect to say the least

The Mach uses a 99-04 GT X pipe virtually

They swap around and will fit

if money isn't an issue: Get some cams
