My godfather knows this guy who has a 04 competition orange mach 1 with 64XX miles on it and a 5spd. This car is bone stock down to the original air filter, and the only time it left the garage was to be driven. I don't think its ever seen rain, let alone snow. I went to have a look at it and the thing is mint, not a scrath or a nick in the paint. He is not technically selling it yet which is good because I wouldn't have a place to put it yet but he said in another year or two he would be too old to even drive the car, yet alone drive it like it was intended to be driven. He told me that when he finally does decide to get rid of it he wouldn't even tell people without letting me get first crack at it. The best part is that he said he would only want 16K-17K for it. The chances of this car having over 7000 miles on it by that time are slim to none. This thing has maybe another one or two trips out into the daylight before its mine.

That's a good price, but 5speedstang on here got his w/ mods and 19k on it for $17,200...

Thatdoes sound like a killer deal. When my godfather found out that I wanted a Mach 1 he almost feel over himself trying to help me. He owns a 1969 Mach 1 with a 351w and a 4 spd. He told me about this guy and asked him for the favor of giving me first shot at it, and 16k for a bone stock Mach 1 that has been babied by its original owner, it makes me warm and tingly.

Same car for about the same price with 12k less, is pretty damn good to me! And he's able to pretty much say the car's never been abused or never been modded! Big plus in my book!

Plus the car is exactly what I wanted. I dont have to compormise anything, this deal sounded to good to be true, until I got in the car and started it. The color, trans, hell the whole car is exactly what I wanted.

I am just waiting for the guy to decide he wants to sell. The garage he keeps it in is heated and there is a big fluffy cover over it making sure anything that may fall doesn't mess her up. She sits in a cocoon waiting for me.
