You should try some other banks. Just because one won'tfinance what you need,doesn't mean the one next door won't either. Trust me, I've been turned down before by several banks for the amount I requested, and handed a6% intrest rate by another bank (USAA) in the same day. It pays to shop around for loans as much as it pays to shop around for the car itself.

So yea I found an 03 Azure Blue Mach 1 w/ only 24k for 18,500 and I'm sure I can negotiate something sounds like a killer deal....However, my bank just destroyed my hopes by saying they could only finance me 14,900
I couldn't believe it, I'm only 22 but I have amazing credit and have payed off 2 cars since 16, I just wish they would give me a lil more, it really sucks cuz I mean even if I got it for 18,500 that wouldn't be much more since when I bought my 02 gt w/ 26k miles for 15k, I've never missed a payment and my credit is amazing for a 22 year old yet they will only give me 14,900.... omg sorry for the rant but I'm just really bummed.

I bought an 04 with over 25,000 miles on it. The best thing I've ever done. Went from a V6 to it and it felt likea rocket strapped to my back side. All the Trans Am guys with the 5.7's and 6.0's think they are fast. The Mach 1 makes more Horse Power per Liter and it doesn't take much to get into the 12's.

Hey thanks alot groundpounder for lookin out man, I appreciate, unfortunately the guy that was buying my GT backed out, guhhhh, just getting worse and worse, I guess I'll just have to be patient grrrrr. But I still want one badly, hopefully there is still a good deal on some decent milage onces out there by the time I get my beast sold.

I too went from an auto V6 to a 5 speed Mach! HUGE difference. I test drove an auto GT wasn't really impressed but then drove the 5-speed Mach and HOLY ****!

Scorpius brudda, I wouldn't get TOO down over it.. It's frustrating yes, but there will be others.. Just be patient and you'll find a better deal more than likely..
