Lowering I think, I'm not really sure. I never paid any attention to it until I was having my gears changed and the guy doing it said, "ah, that's nice, you can adjust your pinion angle."

At one point I was getting tons of vibration, and my mechanic adjusted the angle just a tad and it alleviated alot of it. I've got the pics, but I'm stupid to figure out how to upload them.

I love it. I picked up almost 3mph trap and dropped down to a 13.0 with practice. The best I could do with the 3.55s was 13.5 or so. I'm crossing the 1/4 in 4th gear now instead of the top of 3rd. Traction is a huge issue though, I am really feathering it from a dig to get that 2.0 60 without spinning. Itruns 300rpms higher at 70mph in 5th gear, so not to much loss of MPGs either.

well you just sold me on those then. do you have a tune? that looks like the only diff in our cars, so ifyou dont im thinking i might be able to get in the high 12's with those gears. with practice

yep, if i mod, it'll be the basic bolt ons, but im gonna run a 13.2-13.1 before i mod anything

No tune yet MachMax. Itshould help alot. I hope to put down as much power as you.

That's a good idea USMC. You know the car is good for a 13.2, so it makes sense to master it as is before modding. I've witnessed a couple Machs nail a 13.1 bone stock.

if i feel i can get a 13.1 then ill shoot for it, but who know's....i might break in 12.99, or i might never see 13.8

Seriously, you just have to keep trying, and no matter how consistent you think you're being in your technique, your ETs will still vary like crazy.

well im pretty sure that when the modding starts, it will stop with light bolt on, as i will hopefully be making a 500hp 5.0 stroker, and who knows maybe a 200shot. or a 450hp turbo 4 (my personal favorite)
