Hey,
so I am flying up to Idaho next week to pick up an 04 Mach 1. The guy selling it has a set of custom wheels on it but is giving me the orignal wheels with the car. The question is - will I be able to fit the 4 original wheels into the car for the drive home? Has anyone tried to do this?

I will be bringing sheets to cover the wheels to protect the inside of the car but I am worried that I won't be able to fit them all in.
Thoughts or suggestions?

The back seats fold down to open up the trunk.

True, I should be ok - just wanted to see if anyone has actually done it - With a 1000 mile journey I don't have the option of making two trips

LOL.. steering wheel.. lol that was funny.. But for the OP yeah, they should fit.. If you've got sheets you're taking with you, you should be able to fit three tires in the back seat, just slide the passenger side seat as far forward as you can. I had to do the same thing with my stock wheels when I drove my mach to TX from VA beach.. I put the tires in my car and my GF had all the luggage in hers..

Subotai_95 - sweet dude - thanks for the info - that is reassuring - I really want those stockers! The deep dish are nice but it is always good to kepp the option of going back to the original.
