So the orange is already a sts, and the silver is like...an ultra-sts? The orange is still a big improvement over stock right?

I wouldn't go with anything else but the orange. The handle (arm) of the MGW is perfect.
They used to have a red handle but stopped making them. I forgot if that was shorter or longer than the orange.

I would just get the orange and call it a day. The improvement is, and when I say this it is no lie, a HUGE difference over stock. I almost didn't like it at first because of how short it was lol. The change is drastic in the best possible way. Short and crisp! Not like long throw of the loosy-goosy shifter. I drive a muscle car, pushing the clutch can be tiring enough! Rowing a boat with the stock shifter makes it even worse LOL!

I have the orange handle and it is great. I don't think that I would want it any shorter.

How about the extra boot MGW also sells on their site for $8. They say it helps keep out noise and dust. Is it necessary to you guys?

I had it on my GT but I don't have it on my Mach. I don't see any difference.

I orderd mine direct from MGW. I hear that is the only way they sell them. I looked around the internet everywhere and couldnt find them for sale anywhere else.

By far one of the best mods for a mach 1! I just got my mach 1 home and that MGWshifter is awesome!

Thanks for the input. Let me ask you this...normal daily driving do you give the engine RPM a little time to drop given the shorter time needed for shift or does it feel fine to just roll through the gears? Thanks bro.

I just got my mach 1, and had the MGW installed by the seller. I dont know what the stock shifter feels like so I really couldn't say.
