Default CAI advice

I was looking at the JLT true CAI and the C&L CAI. I noticed the big price difference and wondered if the C&L was worth it. I know it comes with a bigger MAF but 130 diff is alot of coin.I like how the JLT gets rid of the ram air from the shaker, makes it look cleaner and neater. Thanks guys.

I'm one of those people who's no fun and swears by the K&N filter until you're squeezing the last ounce of power you can possibly get from your car. I've contemplated a JLT RAI, but I just can't justify it after putting a JLT CAI on my GT and noticing absolutely nothing.

But basically JLT makes a really nice product for the money. The fit and finish of the C&L is really great, though. Lightyears beyond JLT, at least so i've heard. I had weird fitment issues on my fenderwell intake from JLT on my GT.

I've got the JLT and wish I had the C & L, it just looks better. I don't have any complaints about the JLT. I just wished it looked as good and the C & L............

Did you notice any performance improvements with the JLT?

Ive had both a C&L Intake track (with MAF and all), and now a JLT- they are both good kits, it really just comes down to what you like. I noticed no difference with either intake performance wise, and both are pretty easy to throw in or yank out.

I prefer keeping the shaker functional, even if it cost 2-3 HP, which you'll never miss.
