If you want loud then go for SLP LM1's with an O/R X pipe. You could also go for an H but it would become unbearable after about 2 minutes. The X and H pipes are going to be pretty compareable in power gains. The X will give you a bit more high end while the H will give you low end torque.

for a cheap/descent price a Mac offroad h pipe and a Mac cat-back. If ya want even louder, so SLP LM2s but they'll cost ya more.

I have a Mac catback on my car right now, sounds damn good, but I've got a Pypes O/R X in the mail, which should actually be here tomorrow.

I don't know if you've been in the other thread I posted this in Rebel, but check this out: http://youtube.com/watch?v=aqomJAm-uic

That's the exact setup i'm going to be running. Got my catback for $310 shipped, the X for $160 shipped. That's under $500 for a NASTY exhaust. I'm a fan of chambered setups, and the Mac offers a really nice chambered sound with the sort of raw power sound you get with companies like SLP.

looks like the X pipes are cheaper and i will be going that route instead of H, an H pipe would be perfect if i had headers to pick up a good amount of torque, but with out headers it doesnt look like i would gain that much torque. So looks like i'll be keeping my eye out for a Used X pipe for cheap and by a cat backprobably used too.

any other thoughts would be helpful.
another thing, are the 2v xpipes the same as the 4v....i see the same thing on a website and they're charging like 100 more for the "COBRA" exhaust

The 2v and 4v exhaust is the same except for the headers. The exception is the Cobras with IRS. They have different midpipes.

This is not my ride but I have a similar setup. I bought 2.5 stainless flow tubes from Pypes and Stainless delta 40s.
Had the 2.25 muffler opened up to 2.5 on the inlet and used factory tail pipes. All stainless under 600$
