How much can I squeeze out of a P1?

That's an opinion, I suppose. But at 600+ RWHP, he is going to be close to maxing the duty cycle of the 42's. Looking back at your previous post, the 42's and the 255 lph and a BAP will work, IMO.
But at over 550 RWHP, I would say the BAP is advisable for sure.. I'd also check with Procharger on making 13 psi with a P1. Your impeller speeds might be getting close to tolerance there.

Hrrm.. this is a good point pounder brings up about taxing the 42's though, I hadn't planned on getting much more than around 600, as it's going to be a DD for a while yet. And I hear ya there on the impeller speed on the stage-2 P-1 head units.. I'm pretty sure they're pegged out at 14psi, which is why I'm not planning on running anymore than 12. I was more concerned about what rebel mentioned about running lean without the BAP at 12. It might be close, but I figure I'll run up the 42's to as much as they can handle without running lean with a decent safety margin built into the tune, and I'll stick there for the time being. I still think that given what you guys have said I should be able to pull out between 560-580rwhp under those circumstances, which'll be more than enough to get me into lots of trouble in the meantime. hehe.. Sooooo... what I'm looking at is a BAP (I'm thinking KB's BAP here..), and a 255lph fuel pump, plus the 8-rib pulley kit, and 60# injectors IF I can afford em. If no I'll just tune to below tolerance on the 42's and save up for the 60's... Not a bad plan methinks.. I've gotta start pricing this stuff out now so I can work it into my budget... And I'm probably going to have Gearheads do the install on most of it because I just won't have the time to do it myself so I have to plan for that too..
