Default Is a tuner worth it?

You guys see my mods. I am not sure if buying a tuner would benefitme or not. I plan on getting cams and L/T headers someday but not for awhile. Do any of you guys have tuners and did you even notice a difference in the way the car drives or feels? Should I just go have a tune done at a dyno shop? Also if I do end up getting a tuner any brands that I should look for or stay away from?

Sorry for the newbie questions guys but I'm fairly new to the Mach scene and don't want to make a mistake on a mod that may not be worth the money.

If I were goign to get a tuner, I would invest in a dyno tune. It will show you the most gains. I doubt you will see huge gains with your mods, but you will make some.

a canned tune with what he has would net him ~20-25rwhp, a true dyno tune will be significantly more.

Thanks guys i appreciate the input. I'm thinking the dyno tune is the way to go until I add some more mods.

Got ya. I should have said that I would get another tune after I mod some more. That's what i meant to say it just didn't come out.

that is what he said if i was to get an sct or diablo tuner and just use that if i did a dyno tune it was going to be about 15 or so and im not paying 500 for a chip and tune for 15hp
