you know it is a long job, but its really not all that hard. Basic must-dos: Disconnect clutch line, remove upper intake had and fuel rails, and remove hydra booster (center part) of the brake MS setup Jacking the motor up a couple inches helps as well. Other than that if you just take your time, and think through the steps it shouldnt be too bad. Probably a 7 hour job for total R/R if you take your time. Make sure to use all new gaskets, etc etc.

Here is the article that helped me a bunch: http://www.scottwinger.com/2001-engine.html

well, glad you didnt have to sell the mach man. that would have been a total bummer. i just bought mine about a month ago and im really loving it over my full bolt on 01 GT. cant wait to start modding it, hope you dont mind but i think ill be getting the same wheels as you and (the first thing i noticed that i felt needed to be done) painting my calipers.

Well GP- I went ahead and bought the Moser 28s...I figure if Phil on the registry can hit high 10s with them they should be more than enough on my slow azz mach! They already have the Moser studs, and ABS adapter rings, as well as abs exciter rings pressed on, so they should be ready to throw in the car

Just to give ya heads up there MACHWON, 8-9psi intercooled will put you past your goals even on a conservative tune. You need to look at 6-7psi intercooled for where you wanna be. At 11psi non intercooled I'm at 473rwhp/468rwtq If that was 11psi intercooled I would have almost 525. Intercoolers take away 2-3psi depending on which brand. Good luck lots of fun

Your cars are always really nice man...didn't you have a blue GT before?

I LOVEEEE the BBS wheels, they are incredible, I wish I had a set.

An 01 Cobra bumper w/ a chin spoiler would look SICK

Thanks man! Yeah I had a Blown gt before, but it was sunburst gold. I had a azure mach 1 before that so that maybe what your thinking of.
I really do need to bite the bullet and order a darn 01 cobra bumper...its just so hard to press the buy button when your looking at ~ 800-900 painted and installed [:'(]
