any of you guys race

a 05 + gt. I have a buddy that has a 08 gt with exhaust and cai. My mods are in my sig. Am I right in thinking that I can take him no problem.

If he has a CAI & tune then it will prob. come down to the driver with mayb giving you the slight edge. If he just had a CAI and exhaust you should take him no problem. I had a 07 with the following mods, CAI/Tune, Mid-pipe, axel back, 4:10s. I got beat by 2 mach1s and I also beat 2 with similar mods as you. It all comes down to the driver and who can hook good. Don't under estimate the 3v's. The respond very well to mods.

i have raced a couple none that have been tuned thou i pulled all of them by about the same 1-1 1/2 cars

If it's tuned, it'll be a fun race.

If it's just the CAI and exhaust, you'll walk him. I had this run almost to the T.

those plus a tune and you only making 301 @ the wheels?

im putting down 291 with full exhaust and intake. no tune.

I think it will come down to the driver, cause the s197 gt's are rated at around the same power/torque numbers stock as the mach's but are a bit heavier. Im not sure how their motors respond to mods tho

not sure what numbers you are expecting to get... but 301 to the wheels with his mods is pretty darn good....
i dyno'd at 296/316 to the wheels with K&N CAI, MRT catted H, Magnaflow Magnapack catback, 4:10 gears, Aluminum driveshaft, PHP upper intake spacer, and had it dyno tuned with my 18's on it. i think his numbers are a little high in my opinoin
