Default Intake Spacer Install... I ****ed up

So I got my intake spacer from Roy today. Went ahead and installed it. I was installing the bolts and tightening them up when the front left one just snapped. I now have the threaded part of the bolt stuck with no way to get it out. I tried the screw removal tools and drilling it out but have had no success.

The manifold is sealed with no leaks and the EGR was fine. The car runs completely fine but I cannot live with it like that.

Overall I am pleased with the spacer. It seem like just daily driving, the car gets up to speed with more ease and slightly smoother. I only got on it once and noticed it slightly but haven't really gotten into it enough yet.

The bolt doesn't stick out at all so I don't have a way of cutting into it. That is a good idea though.

No idea. It is the bolt that was supplied with the spacer, not the stock bolts. It seems pretty hard haha. We have broken multiple drill bits.

Ohh dang, I'm going to order my spacer any day now.Do you think it was a good investment? Also do you have an aftermarket TB? And if it doesn't leak just leave it... no one is going to see it!

I think that it was worth it. I feel it more with normal driving than anything else. I don't have an aftermarket TB.

I know I could just leave it, but it is the peace of mind.

I can't get any pics right now. Half of the bolt is threaded and half is not. It broke off right at the beginning of the threads. It is flush with the bottom part of the intake manifold. We cannot grab onto it with anything. We have tried drilling and using extractors but have failed.

damn, it's in that thing good. have you tried a magnet?

you might have to take it all off and try to spin the spacer (if its possible)
