you can shatter the rear end with a stock mach with sticky tires if you launch high enough.

Mach 1's Engine (5-spd) can handle 450 safely, after that is a ticking time bomb. (rods and pistons)

Full Bolt-on Mach's can hit 340-350rwhp

Stock Mach rears are 28 spline and can be destroyed by a stock motor, especially if running slicks.

Stock Mach 3650 tranny's suck and can be destroyed by a stock motor, bummer since these are one of a kind tranny's with 3.27 first gear.

i remember a while ago coming across a guy who layed down 343rwhp on motor only in his mach. 320+ is easy with full bolt on's and a tune

i have seen on the net 99/01 cobra'a and machs go mid 11's on motor (full bolt on's and weight reduction) and very few in the deep 11's

Keep it on the street with bolt-on mods and you'll have no probs out of a tough car with gobs of power and good gas mileage. The problems listed are the results of any car on the market having the hell punished out of it at a racetrack. It's a musclecar and that's how many of us treat our Stangs. We like high hp #s and low ETs and don't mind spending the time and money for the thrills our Machs bring.

Now that sounds a little better! I would only "race" mine like twice a year if I were to get it...
