Default Thinking of getting a different tranny

I was wondering if you were to get a manual transmission what one would u think, a T-56 or some different one i dont know. It can be a 6 spd or 5 spd I was thinking of this because my car is a Daily Driver now and im not going to race it at the track anymore. I have nothing to prove, my car did repectable times and im happy with it, but I might just have fun with some friends on the road once in a while. And if this was to happen what would I need to do?
Im not sure about this choice yet, I just want your guys opinion.

Do you just want a stick instead of an auto?

Why not just build the auto?

Ya the manual has a forged crank which I think allows it to rev higher. Not positive on that being the reason. You wouldn't have to get new gauges but your car probably can't spin as high.

+1 03MachMe's opinion. If you're not going to race or racing much less, the 3650 is the most cost effective adequate tool for the job. If you didn't mind spending more, the T56 is more durable and I'm sure that extra gear between our 4th and 5th sure is nice to have sometimes.

forged steel shaft, lower redline, that's pretty much it....but if you are getting rid of the auto i'll take it.
