Default mach 1 hood scoop ?

Just wondering what route you all think I should go...

As some of you know I recently put a shaker kit on my silver gt and have not yet been home long enough to run it to the intake. So my question is this...Should I just leave it as is (possibly keep underhood temps down) or should I go ahead and rig it up to the intake for the whole 3hp gain lol?

well if I had $700 to spend on a hood and paint I would because I like it better as well, but that has nothing to do with the question I asked. Besides it made more sense to go with that set-up which cost me $450 for everything I needed to install it myself versus about $1000 for the hood and shaker assembly, etc. I appreciate the opinions though, you are all entitled to them.

Sorry if I offended you, CAI would be better for you probably...

He said $700 for hood AND paint, not just hood.

Run it to your stock box and get a CAI from the box to the throttle body.

You won't really be able to tell a difference between a CAI or running the shaker to the intake. Both serve the same function equally. If you can run the shaker to the intake without half assing it, I would go that route just because (my personal opinion/preference). The CAI will most likely be your most practical route though. Good luck with the Praxis!
