Cool 03 Cobra Eaton Supercharger

Could someone please direct me to a thread concerning adding the 03-04 Cobra's stock supercharger assembly to the 03-04 Mach 1?

I am getting the S/C, throttlebody, intake, and pulley. I need to know what other parts to get as well as what to upgrade on my car (forged pistons, rods, etc?)

Thanks!

i read up on it. there was a stock eaton for sale in my area. the ammount of parts you need to get adds up to more than it would cost truly to S/C your car with a kit.

This link will take you to a thread on Mach1Registry that will supply you with all the known possible information on doing this, including parts and price lists, exploded parts views, and installation pictures.

My advice would be to think long and hard about this. The parts list alone, is as long as your arm, and in the end, you'll have spent a good $3-4K, excluding labor costs, to run an Eaton blower on a non-forged motor at 8psi. If that's worth it to you, then go for it.

Thanks guys. I researched it, and it's more trouble than it's worth.

It always is. Why is it that everyone wants to put a heaton on their car? It's not even that good of a S/C.

*sigh*

Reeeeeeeet REREEEEEEEET REEEEEEEEEEE.

I think its assumed since the mach and cobra being semi-close that it would be rather easy to put the stock cobra S/C'r on. so people look into it and... fail.

LOL, lots of people would brudda, but if you're going to go S/C it's just too easy to find a better blower than the heaton.. If the OP really wants that twin screw whine it'd be more worth to get a 2.4KB or even a whipple.. They're better blowers with better powerbands.. Still, it all depends on the buyer broham.. That setup you have looks pretty sweet.. For the average joe that's just looking to go S/C it probably IS more trouble than it's worth brudda..
