Lowest Mileage Mach1 on MF?

My brother has a 2004 Mach 1 with 2,660 miles on it. (Keeps it in a garage, under a tarp, whole nine yards.) He just joined Mach1Registry and I'm trying to get him to join here also. He is telling me on that site he has the 4th lowest Mach1 registered. Anyone here lower?

(And before you flame me/him for not driving the car, it's his choice. Mine goes out regularly!)

He should just drive it. I bought mine with 6k miles and I now have 19k. I will have 20k after I drive to NJ for some track days this week.

That is probably one of the lower ones. I imagine there is one somewhere with a few hundred that someone hasn't touched.

I understand the concept of keeping a car in the garage, pampering, avoiding weather and such but I would still drive it. I never drove my car in the rain last year and I still put 7k miles on it.

There was one on craigslist in my area that had 941 miles or something like that for 22k. Lowest I have ever seen.

i dont get the point in trying to keep these things low miles... they wont be a big time collector car or anything.

i understand both sides of the argument

one one side it's a car, drive it, if it gets wrecked, fix it, drive it some more

the other side is...the more you drive it, the more worn out it's going to get,,at some point, you want to stop/never start wearing something out

I understand the not driving thing much omre with collector cars...

just think about how neat it is to see a 60's something *even if it's nothing special* with 1-5K miles or something.. it's NEAT..

Who has the highest amount of miles on their Mach? I have 104k and that seems pretty high to me, but I'm sure someone's got me beat.

I bought mine brand new, took delivery in December of 2002. It has been my daily driver ever since. The car has 66k miles on it, but the drivetrain is mostly new, and has about 3,500 miles on it. About the only things that are still original are the body panels, glass, front seats, and the transmission.

Damn, I don't think I could drive my car that much!

Mine's a 99 (GT) with 88K and I think that's high.

Enjoying the hell out of her I hope!

I was about to ask you why you only had 3500 miles on the drivetrain. Curious what you blew up until I checked out your signature. Explanation found!:icon_shrug:

there was one for sale around here very similar to that when i bought mine last year, but i think it seriously had under 50 miles on it. It was Azure Blue, and they wanted like 33k for it.....was interesting
