I have a six speed DD going 50 miles or so back and forth to work. The guys that helped tune my car said to go with 4:10 gear or lower for my setup N/A. I found a rearend rebuild kit from late model restoration supply with 4:10 gears. They offer Yukon gears. Not sure on how good yukon gears are. I asked one of the reps that works there if the gears could be substituted for FRPP for the same price, he stated yes. Here's the link: http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...0%201&comp=LRS

Prolly shoulda started a new thread with this but oh well. I think most would definately go with FRPP gears as Yukon isn't as well known. More of a comfort thing prolly. 4.30s are much better in the 1/4 if that's what you're going for. Not sure if friction modifier is required with that diff so you may want to ask. Have fun with it!
