Ford thankfully fixed it on the S197s by cutting down to only 2 hi flow cats, and using a full 2.5" exhaust system, but having 4 highly restrictive cats on top of a 2.25" exhaust is crazy. Thats a lot of restriction, a whole lot.
S197s come stock w/ 2.5" with 2 high flow cats...I learn something new everyday.

Yep. Thats why you hear a lot of S197 guys using the term "axle back" exhaust instead of cat-back. There's no need to change all that extra piping since its already 2.5". Instead, we just replace the mufflers and the tail pipes from the axle back (no gains, just sound). The two cats are very small.
Ok rebel this should make you feel better. I found out it already had a aftermarket 2.5in midpipe under it, it also already had 3.73 gears in it. They were swaped for the 3.90s though. We ran out of time so he had a shop install the clutch cable and quadrant. They put the beveled nut on the front side of the fork and the lock nut on the back side though so it came off shifting to 3rd. They plan was to run it today but the weather looks pretty bad out.

stone, look how long it took yall to talk me into taking my silencer out and putting a cat-back on....lot of work ahead of you lol
It made 397 rwhp on a 100 shot. It's hooking pretty good with the drag radials but we got rained out yesterday. The shop that put the clutch cable in added a relay to the nitrous kit and rewired the bottle warmer for some reason. It doesn't work now. Once that problem is fixed though everything will be ready.
