Default 96-98 COBRA intake cams

Deciding to go with them over expensive cam sets requiring expensive springs, but having trouble finding them.

Where can they be bought?
How much advance to not lose low-end power?

Thx

should be an 8-10* advance to lose no bottom, but if you do lose, you LT's made up for it. should see fairly good gains from what my brain damage lets me remember.

I've since bought and sold a set. The install price turned me off and I started running the times I wanted to w/o using them. Man this thread must've been 30 pages back, lol.

Whats a rough ballpark on having these installed? I might look into these rather than buying expensive custom grind cams

$800-$1500, you said rough, lol. Installing and degreeing them can be done with the motor in the car but each mechanic's level of expertise with overhead cam motors decides that.

I just picked up a set of 97 cobra cams for $120. Should be about 5-6 hours of labor. In order to degree these cams properly I will need some adjustable cam gears like these right?
