Wind that engine out to 6800 rpm and make sure the gears don't try to hang up on you. The synchros go out on some of the 3650 trannys (mainly 3rd) and a lot of the time it starts out only being noticeable in the upper RPMs. Other than that, just give it the regular run down. Good luck.

QUOTE=28HopUp;6733695]05REX was a 'Registered User', so I changed him into a 'Full Access Member' since he's been here since Aug 2009. I don't know if his lack of posts (<50) will inhibit his ability to see pictures or not. Tell him to get more active... :P[/QUOTE]

But it had the rear end noise that I just described and since at the time I didn't know that was common, it scared me and I passed. O well. In my area, when I was looking, they were going for about 16-17k... I was happy to get mine for 15,500 plus I almost bought an 05 GTO (sooo nice!) but the seller flaked. I still envy those cars... BTW, how hard was it to install your Fiore clutch quadrant + Firewall adjuster? I want to do this upgrade but feel like it is going to be too much of a hassle.

haha...i went to chicago to get mine...it cost me like 100$ in traveling fees...(my friend drove his vw so he went through maybe 70 bucks in gas)...picked it up and drove it back... first manual i had ever owned so i had to learn quick lol
As for the fiore clutch quadrant & firewall adj. it wasnt easy at all so i took it to a friend of mine with a garage and got it installed...it was the best mod i have ever done in my life!
i highly recommend it...its only 100 bucks total

Awesome, I think I would have it installed if you say its difficult, I want it done right lol. Well, on the other hand, I took my car to a shop for the LT install and they effed up... Took them 2 full days and broke my dipstick lol. Dont skimp unless you want things like this to happpen. I could have payed $100 more and had a more professional shop do it...

On the the test drive the road was a little wet I gave it a liitle gas and sideways we went. But no odd sound as you all mentioned so it's mine.
