Congratulations. That's a fine looking car you have and one that will thrill you and impress just about anybody who sees it. You'll probably start parking far away in parking lots just so you can get a better look at your Mach 1 while you're walking back to it. Enjoy.

Thanks guys
As far as mods go. I was Thinking some 4.10 gears a tuner , TB and maybe headers.
I love the look of the car the way it came from the factory. The only thing I want to change is some wider 17" magnum 500s for the rear.

If you have not been to the Mach1Registry take a trip over there. Ton's of Mach specific information and a lot of great folks like here.

Congrats on the purchase. You will love this car. It does everything advertised...

Congrats man! As long as you have a Mach 1 you dont need 10 buckets of awesome lol. I just did headers, its a headace but its awesome. ARH longtubes + catted x pipe, SCT tuner, install, gaskets, stage 8 locking header bolts(waste of money btw) = $2400!!! start savin' lol. Also did an Accufab throttle bodie, twin 60mm because the stock twin 57mm started to corrod for whatever reason... It whistles upon startup and throughout warm up. didnt notice any improvement besides throttle response even after headers and tune. Post up pics in the "PICS OF OUR MACHS" thread of the Mach 1 section.

ok well M1R has GREAT info, but it also has some of the most retarded people on the net...for instance if your do mostly city driving and want gears go 4.30's if it's a mix of city hwy go 4.10's....had 3 other mach's (all white )

both went 7.70's with DR, 4.30's, cai, mid pipe, tune, and driver mods....and got 22 mpg city i get around 22-23 stock as i am.

I think you should start up a new thread and we can talk about all of the options there including what to expect in removing your air silencer and such. Im like you. Im curious about the real differences and installation problems and whatnot.

would if I just did a drop in k&n n tuner? bone stock the drop-in filter is fine, but the JLT will keep up better with other supporting mods and you'll get more out of a dyno tune. Just my .02 ofcourse.

EDIT: and +1 on the new thread.

I'm thinking about test driving this Mach at the stealership in my area, I want one bad! Its competition orange with 16k miles, all stock. They are asking $19k for it though... not to jack the thread, but what do you think is a fair price for the car?

Yeah, not to be a terd but just start a new thread next time. To answer your question though.....values vary across the country so find out the value in your zip. Whatever kbb says it's full retail value is, subtract $2.5K and that should be a fair price. DO NOT drive it unless you're seriously considering buying it because you WILL want to buy it once you do that. Best of luck with it and pics in the sticky if you buy it.
