Questions on magnum 500 wheels and tires for Mach owners
I have found some of these at cruizinconcepts and wheel replicas, just have to verfy that they have them in stock (or figure out how to order from wheelreplicas, can't see an add to cart button anywhere).
the cruizinconcepts package has the following sizes of tires:
245-40ZR-18 Nitto NT555 Performance Tires
275-35ZRZ-18 Nitto NT555 Performance Tires
now, a rep at another site stated that I should stick with
275/35/18 for the front, and 285/35/18 for the rear.
the car is it would be going on is lowered a bit more than stock. I don't want a tall tire in the back.. but I don't want super low profile tire either. My other concern is not having enough tire on the side walls to give it a little cushion in case of hitting a curb. I have seen some tires where it looks as though the rim lip is sticking out farther than the tire.
I really would rather not have a very harsh ride either, living in IOwa the roads are not always the best, even though I avoid rough patches when I drive the car.
does anyone have experience with these tires, or combo that can chime in?
thanks

I almost got those rims lol. Got the Saleens instead but I went 245/40/18 front and 285/35/18 rear with 9" wheels in front and 10" wheels in back. This is the recommended size for our cars, I work at Discount Tire and this is what the fitment guide recommended. I have the Nitto NT555's and they ride surprisingly quiet, compared to my old Toyo Proxes on 17's.
