You will be paying a lot of money on top of the Mach though. Wait a few years and pick up a 2011+ GT used.

I'm wit stone....Listen I think the 5.0 is badass as hell... (who doesn't) A mach is a unique mustang. With the mods you have done now, and if your put some 410's in it, and some DR....A new 5.0 won't touch you. Listen people a 12.8 Rated 1/4 time for the 5.0 is done by a professional drive...We'll probably see people running mid to low 13's in them. Mod your mach, and keep it faster lol...thats my plan anyways..... the mach 1 was said to run 13.1 bone stock. People have done it, but not many......I only got a best of 13.6 bone stock.....So I suggest you hold on to your car.....It looks mean, and it nice as helll ...be happy!

The biggest reason I want a new 5.0 is because I will be the first owner, I want to buy new. That way I will know exactly how it has been treated. I treat my car extremely well for being a 19 YO "kid" lol. Maybe I will pay my car off and then when I finish school I will buy a 2013 Mustang lol. Im looking at the 5.0 and it is damn sexy and sooo refined. I've just got that "itch" ya know...

With gears and all his bolt ons A new 5.0 STOCK GT wont touch him.. but that comparing apples to oranges. Wait until that 5.0 gets some mods done to it. Also thats not a professional driver... Wait until 5.0 or MMFF gets ahold of it. THEY ABUSE the car. They have professional drivers that beat the car until it screams for mercy.. Their runs seem to always be lower than what motor trend or car and driver seem to get out of them. Plus that car has incredible amenities to them. The car traps 112 MPH... thats good for a VERY LOW 12 second pass! The mach 1 stock is like 105?

The car also has a forged motor, 6 speed, and the interior is better... Not the exterior but oh well..

Im in between the new 5.0 and a Mach 1. Im leaning for the Mach 1 because first generation anything = bad idea... Plus, the mach is one of my dream cars. Its really the perfect mustang for me.
