Great run. What mods are done to each car?

Both of our cars are well-modded; I know for sure that Greg's 2003 Cobra is far from stock
...Aluminator Block, a large Kenne Bell blower (not sure which one). Car is making 568rwhp!
He doesn't get to the track much, so I guess (with practice) he should have kicked the poop outta me, lol!

My 2003 mach1 has a ton of mods to the stock block; a 2.1 Intercooled Kenne Bell Supercharger just for starters,
Dyno-tuned with 8psi boost making 440rwhp...

I'm going to run it with 'Slicks & Skinnies' next season...hopefully this old
guy can make it into the mid 11's

Thanks for asking

Very Nice!

Think you could up the boost a little and make some more power outta that mach??

I wouldn't recommend it, I'd say just focus on getting that power to the ground, he's got another 6-7mph left in her.

Thanks darkmach1, you're right. I was told that, on this 'stock block,' that if I boost anymore
(it's actually able to do 9psi), there is a possibility of detonation! Crap, I even hate writing that word.

Anyway, yup, next year 'Slicks & Skinnies'....get a better launch (I'm 'bogging' it out right now)
and I should get into the mid 11's with some more top-end speed. Get my 60' to 1.6 - 1.7's
I'm still running stock clutch, driveshaft and 28-spline axles.

The company that sponsors me on big weekends, Brown Bros Ford Performance,
like the car I guess; of course, I'm a good customer, a nice guy and the car's pretty

They want to replace the clutch (Centerforce or Cobra) & axles (31's) over the Winter months.
(I'll just have to pay for 'fluids'...nice!)

Our drag-racing season is over here in the Pacific Northwest,
but I'll be sure to let ya know how the Winter-mods go!

Thanks for your comments, for sure!

^ Good plan. If I were you I would also order some Torco and mix it with your pump gas to prevent detonation at the track.

Yup, sorry...we've been using VP Racing Fuel (VP-110) in the car during the season.

Thanks for your advice...I'm new, but I'm learning.
