Selling Mach for 300 SRT8??
I have been throwing this idea around in my head and was wondering what your thoughts were on this:
I have always liked the 300 SRT8's, not the 300s, 300Cs, just the SRT8s. It would be nice to have something a little bigger and have the same amount of power. Gas mileage not really a concern, i only drive on the weekends as it is.
My mach has 52K on her now and with the mods added (all original OEM parts that were removed were kept as well minus catback) I think I can get close to 15K for her. Paint and interior is next to flawless.
Am I crazy or should I move forward?

I'd lean towards "crazy" almost automatically, but then I'd rather drive a 'stang over almost anything else, and I'm very visually oriented, and the 300 has always looked like a boring box with wheels to me, even the SRT8.
Still, if you really need/want a bit more room and luxury with decent power, from a purely analytical standpoint, you could do far worse than a 300 SRT8

I think $15k is a good starting price for your Mach. I also disagree with Torch_Vert and am on your side about the looks of the 300 SRT8. The SRT8 version just has a certain coolness about it the lesser models don't have. As far as current American sedans, the 300 (and the Charger) is as close as you're going to get to a Mustang. My only complaint with them is the horrible auto transmission. (And just my 2¢, if I found my self in need of an affordable full sized fast 4dr, the Pontiac G8 would be my first choice)

I am shopping for the lesser model ie 300S AWD mainly because of where I reside. I am getting rid of the GT500 (2400 miles) and a 2010 Ram Hemi Sport 4x4 (16000 miles) for the Hemi 300 and expect to get approx 15k back in return. Actually heading out the door now to go shopping for one.

I would have to find a buyer for the Mach first. I just recently had PRK eye surgery so everything is at a halt at the moment.
I have considered the CTS-V as well, but those are even harder to find in low mileage than the 300.

Oh ok I gotcha. And yea those older cts-v's are kinda hard to find. When they pop up here even the 07's are usually in the mid to low 20g range.
