Default Fuel pump problem?

Just bought an 03 Mach 1 last week. 87k miles and in very good condition for $11k. It has an off road x pipe, borla atak cat back, 4.10s, intake spacer and no tune.
I took my brother for a ride and got on it pretty hard and it was running like a champ. About an hour later we went out to pick up some food. I redlined it and when I shifted into third it just bogged hard every time I hit the gas. I pulled over and shut it off. When I went to start it again it wouldn't turn over so I got it towed home. I'm thinking this is a fuel delivery problem. I checked all my 20amp fuses under the hood and nothings blown. I don't hear the pump turn on when I turn the key. Any suggestions on what I should be looking at?

Welcome!

Not hearing the pump could be a big clue there. But before you go check fuel pressure, check the interia shutoff switch in the trunk and see if it needs to be reset.

I did a little research and learned about the inertia switch. I got a little sideways coming off my street and I had some stuff in the trunk so I thought maybe I tripped it but the button is depressed so I don't think that's the issue. Unless of course the switch itself is no good.

Those switches rarely fail. Never heard of anyone having to replace one that wasn't all smashed up. If 12V is getting through to the pump, then the switch is fine. (Don't forget to check for good ground too.)
